Day 5

Well was awoken by my mom yelling "we missed breakfast", which we didnt but we did sleep in, after our breakfast we dressed and started walking, to our suprise we found the stop for the Hop on and off buses so we paid and hopped on, which was great because I didnt get very many pics on our tour last night so I got many good ones today. We had lunch at a Italien pub, I ordered French fries and buffalo wings, realizing fast they were not like we have in USA at all, IK dont think the fries were even from potatoes they had a very odd taste to them and the wings, lets just say needed lots of help... LOL, but my mom loved her food, she got chicken and broccoli pasta. We then walked around more and went and took a ciesta until dinner time, we ate at a little italien place right next to our hotel, I had pizza of course and the strongest margarita ive ever drank in my life, but I chocked it down, LOL, we then went and walked around town one last night and decedied to go on na hunt for gellato, we actually ended up finding the cutest gellato shop right down the alley from our hotel, my mom got cherry and I got coconut. Now we are resting in our hotel, wel actually im on here and mom is sleeping beside me, LOL! Our time in Rome has come to an end, we leave tomorrow at 9 a.m  Ciao Bella (Ive been wanting to say that for days)

Day 4

So this tim change thing had us awake at 1:30 a.m, and I finally fell back to sleep around 5:oo a.m, so hopfully we will be back on track tonight. We ate breakfast at our hotel and then got ready and went walking, we found the fountains and there was a protest going on, very scary, thre was 3 different types of police and the Italien army there, we stayed far away. We found lots of little shops and bought many gifts, and of course ate more pizza.... LOL, the cars here are super compact and they have lots of scooters and motorbikes, the traffic here is herendous, and they dont care if you are in the crosswalk or not, they will still try to run you over. The police here are very scary they carry there guns right in front of them, one had his gun aimed up my mom got so scraed it almost touched her it was that close. Okay well we are off to nap
now before our dinner tour7:30 P.M and we were shuttled to a big tour bus, with lots of italien speaking people, the tour was great except for 2 things, it was mostly in Italien and we couldnt take any pics because they were blurred from the buses windows, but we did make 3 stops and I took plenty of pics there, we went to the Trevi fountain (known as the fountain of love) your suppose to throw a coin in and make a wish, which I did. There was lots of peddlers there including a man on stilts dressed in silver, well my mom fell for it and wanted a pic with him not realizing he wanted money, he started banging his cane and telling her 2 euro, so she gave him 1 and he was reletless, I finally have him another euro he wanted her to give him 5, because he saw how much money she had, I gave him his euro and pulled her away, explaining that she needs to be more carful. We thern stopped to take pics of the whole city at night, they didnt turn out so good but they will do, then we went to the Vadicen, Im sure I spelled that wrong, then they took us to dinner at this point it was 1030 p.m, they fed us a 4 course italien meal which was pretty good, Im realizing I miss American chocolate its just not sweet enough here. We came out of the restaurant around 11:45 and learned fast that the night life here at begun, it was jam packed the tour guide explained they come out from midnight to 7 a.m and drink, very odd, but very interesting at the same time. We finally made it back to our hotel and now its after midnight, good night all, tomorrow will be our last day in Rome, we will see what the day brings us.

Day 3 cont.....

So we slept for a couple of hours then forced ourselves to wake up and go explore, we went and ate at this little bistro type ITalien place which was soooooo yummy, I had bruschetta and Margerhita pizza, which was the best pizza Ive ever eaten ion my life, we then went and toured the city trying to find little shops without getting to far from our hotel, well we found a couple and soon realized everyone was starring at us, apprently flip flops and short sleeve shirt arent appropiate over here, LOL they were all compltely bundled from head to toe you would think it was snowing or something, well this weather was considered warm for me atleast, I felt right at home, weather wise anyways. We walked for a couple of hours then walked back to that little bistro and got some dessert to take back to our room.
Things are vvery different here , our Hotel is very very nice and the staff is sooooo helpful, we have to use our hotel key to turn on the electricty in the room which is very funny and the toilet flushes on the wall, and we have a boudai.... im sure im spelling that one wrong. But we have one... LOL Okay well off to eat my canoli now..........

Day 2 and 3

Well since its technically day 3 now, im combining days, so our flights were long and not off to a good start, they took my gel and tried to take my contact cleaner, but let me have that, the flight to NY wasnt bad, a little rocky, and crazy that we had to recheck back in at NY for our next flight, thank goodness we had time in between. We boarded are flight to Rome and wow were we in shock, our plane ride was in Italien the whole time, and the staff was mostly men and not very friendly at all, they did give me a little gift this morning though for it being my birthday. We landed and Rome and were confused right away about how we were getting picked up but finally figured it out and man we will not travel that way again, my poor mom got sooo sick on the 1.5 hour car ride to the hotel, which I thought was like 5 minutes away, and man they drive crazy over here and there streets are sooo tiny, so now were going to nap and se what the day brings.

Day 1

Finally arrived to our ohtel in San Fran after no help from the front desk boy giving me wrong directions, but atleast we made it, we spent the day at Pier 39 and then went to Union Square and WOW I felt like I was in N.Y again, I never even realized we had all of those fancy stores,craziness!!! We went to the Cheesecake factory for dinner and man was it yummy, Ive been eating the best bad foods all day long.... lol man I love vacations. Okay well off to the airport at 4:30 a.m, Next stop Rome!!!

Getting ready to take the trip of my life

I'am creating this blog so I can post about my trip while I'm gone. It will be a way for everyone to read about my days, Ill try to keep it entertaining if possible... LOL! Hope you enjoy, One week and counting!!!
